Large ash tree felled in tendring village, essex.

This large Ash tree was situated in a small woodland in Tendring. One side of the tree had fallen and due to its close proximity to a public footpath the council had instructed the customer to fell the remaining stem. We dismantled the tree down to a 12ft pole which was left for habitat.

Holm oak and cherry reductions in colchester, essex.

Both trees had a light 1.5/2 metre crown reduction to British Standards.

Willow pollard and cherry reduction in Lawford, essex.

This willow tree had been pollarded previously so we re-pollarded this to keep it under control. The cherry had been heavily pruned previously which is not good practice for a cherry tree. We lightly reduced the cherry to give a better shape and maintain its size for the surroundings.

Chestnut, Ash and Larch reductions in Dedham, essex.

This job was within the Dedham conservation area so permission was needed to carry out the work. This was all taken care of prior to work commencing. We then carried out light crown reduction to all three trees back to suitable growth points to British Standards.

LARGE WALNUT TREE REMOVED IN BRIGHTLINGSEA, ESSEX.

This tree had become too large for the customer’s garden. The tree was situated over fences and a shed so it was all professionally lowered using rigging techniques by our highly qualified arborists.

CONIFER HEDGE TRIMMING CARRIED OUT IN LAWFORD, ESSEX.

This is a regular conifer hedge that we trim ever year to keep it looking neat and tidy.

Garden clearance and sycamore trees removed, Mistley, Essex

This garden was very overgrown and hadn’t been touched for years. We spent one day clearing all the smaller shrubs and ivy. We then submitted an application to fell the three sycamore trees as the property was in a conservation area. Once approval was received, the trees were removed.

cherry tree & Hawthorn reductions, colchester, essex

Light reduction work carried out to British Standards where the tree was reduced back to growth points to leave a flowing branch line and a nicely shaped tree.

hedging & climber pruning, manningtree, essex

Tidied up conifer hedges and pruned back a Wisteria and a Virginia creeper. The wisteria and the Virginia creeper had both been left to grow up and on to the roof of the house so both were pruned to give a minimum of 50cm clearance from the roof. Two of the hedges were overhanging the roadside so these were trimmed back as hard as possible.

conifer hedge removal and stump grinding, lawford, essex

Small section of conifer hedge removed so customer could gain access to replace fence. Remaining stumps were ground out below ground level.

Eucalyptus removal, Great bromley, tendring, essex

Removal of a large multi-stem Eucalyptus tree from a rear garden. The tree spanned three gardens and the back part of the tree was over two large outbuildings, so the tree was carefully removed using rigging techniques to ensure nothing was damaged.

Large Douglas Fir Removal, Ipswich, suffolk

Removal of a large Douglas Fir from a rear garden in Ipswich. This tree was over 100 foot tall and only 5 metres from the customer’s property. Due to its close proximity to the house and the danger this presented, unfortunately it had to be removed.

large beech hedge trimming, ipswich, suffolk

The customer was responsible for both sides of this hedge as one side was on a public footpath. Both the sides and the top were trimmed to leave a tidy finish.

Eucalyptus boundary prune, Wix, essex

The eucalyptus tree was in the customer’s neighbour’s garden and had been poorly/heavily pruned previously which had resulted in large amounts of sporadic reaction regrowth. Rather than re-pollarding, we carried out a more sympathetic reduction on one side, back to suitable growth points which should prevent such fast regrowth over the customer’s side.

Ben and his work colleague did some tree surgery at my elderly parents home earlier this week. They were very professional from going to give a quote, explaining exactly what would be done, to finishing the work. They were very respectful of my parents. We would not hesitate to recommend their services to anyone. Thank you Ben

lime Reduction, Ipswich, Suffolk

This lime tree had a Tree Preservation Order (TPO) on it so we undertook the necessary work to gain permission from the council to carry out work. After permission was granted, we carried out a 30% reduction to the tree under British Standard guidance. As you can see from the photos, after a professional reduction, a tree should retain a natural shape and still have a significant amount of leaf coverage to help the tree recover and reduce reaction growth.

sycamore Removal, Mistley, manningtree, essex

The tree was in a Conservation area, the customer had already spoken to the tree officer who agreed permission was not required as the tree was dead and therefore dangerous. The tree was carefully dismantled due to it being close to properties.
